In Bordeaux, the climate turns towards that of the Mediterranean with abundant and frequent rains in the spring. We had taken care beforehand to work the soils in depth in order to avoid the erosion of the clay humic layer of surface and to allow the rains a good penetration in the ground to recharge the water tables.

For the phytosanitary treatments, we had to juggle between the French holiday and the water reduction forecasts...
Because neither the vines nor the rain, alas, stick to 35 hours a week and do not benefit from days off... A real race against time...
The result is magnificent : green vines and multiple flower buds ready to bloom...
May is also the month of the first “primeur” ratings of the 2022 vintage by journalists.

Le vinest crémeux, soyeux et porté par des tannins compacts aux grains très fins. On ressent bien la fraîcheur calcaire au travers de notes crayeuses et d'une salinité énergisante ! Un vin brillant à découvrir à tout prix.
